Neuromuscular Rehabilitation

Motor control is a general term used to describe the connection between our muscles and our nervous systems (central- the brain and spine, and peripheral-nerves coming out of our spine and distributing throughout our whole body). Neuromuscular rehabilitation focuses on improving this connection, helping each patient to have better control over movement, improve coordination between and within muscle groups, perform tasks more efficiently, and improve static and dynamic posture in sitting, standing or while walking.
